We like to think we are in control.. in one sense we are and in another we just are not.
If we think we are our mind.. of course the mind believes it is in control.
If we think we are out body.. we are a victim of it all
If we think we are neither.. we could find out we are neither.. that would blow your mind out and leave a body on a string, floating in some big thing :)

Saviour love
Isn't it a bit weird that we like to own people. Why do we say we love someone and then want them to do what we want them to do. I don't think that can be called loving.
One of the deepest prisons in our world is the saviour lover concept. It is every where you look.. our world is build on this strange life perverting concept. Its in fairy tales, its in love songs its in books its in films. Its in there deep and it keeps you in need.
Everyone seems to be looking to be saved by finding someone, they even call them 'the one' like oh he's not the one i know its not going to last.
And some people have found the one and they seem to be terrified of loosing the one while others just have someone that sort of will do they also seem sad, they demand they do what they want them to do.
And some just do it religoulsly and dont really do people and think they are free.
I find it perverse and really quite strange but most seem convinced this is how to behave.

The Joker, The Librarian and the Tourist
The Fermi Paradox
The Fermi paradox is the apparent contradiction between high estimates of the probability of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations and the lack of evidence for, or contact with, such civilizations.
The extreme age of the universe and its vast number of stars suggest that if the Earth is typical, extraterrestrial life should be common. In 1950 while working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, the physicist Enrico Fermi questioned why, if a multitude of advanced extraterrestrial civilizations exist in the Milky Way galaxy, evidence such as spacecraft or probes are not seen.
Fermi concluded, the Earth should have been visited long ago and many times over.
I hope this is pretty obvious to anyone who thinks about it.
So we are looking for an explanations to the Fermi Paradox.
So one of the following must hold true for the Paradox to collapse
1. There is no such things as ET's
2. All ET's don’t want to be noticed
3. All ET's don’t care and don’t bother knowing anything about the world around them or, 3a variant, All ET's have evolved beyond our conception of society and we cant connect with them in any conceivable way.
4. Or Most don’t care, some do, and some are just passing through.
In my view 4. is the most logical conclusion that can be drawn. These i will call the Joker, The Librarian and the Tourist (i wont be arguing the first 3 as it is obvious)
The Librarian
Any ET civilisation that does have an interest in the world around them will build Von Neumann or Bracewell probes, these self replicating probes are the most rapid and efficient way to map the surrounding universe for any civilisation that cares to.
These I will call Librarian civilisations.
Von Neumann probes
A von Neumann probe is a self-replicating spacecraft designed to investigate its target system and transmit information about it back to its system of origin. Named after Hungarian-born mathematician and physicist John von Neumann, who rigorously studied the concept of self-replicating machines that he called "Universal Assemblers" and which are often referred to as "von Neumann machines".

Therapy
Why is a Therapist a Therapist
I think you become a therapist if you are looking to heal yourself in some way. If you want to be a therapist, i think you are trying to heal what i call an issue of face.
Deeper down you know there is a problem but you don't want to show it on the surface. Becoming a therapist is a great way to address this.
To the outside world you are a therapist so you must be ok, on the inside world you can learn about the type of issue you are really trying to fix in yourself by 'helping' everyone else who has that problem, and wants to talk about it to you. It works very well if you have a face issue and want to work on healing what is behind the face in a faceless way.
In this respect all forms of therapy can be thought of as manipulative.
Well, that is OK because someone is coming to a therapist because they want to get 'fixed' of course they want to be manipulated and they will pay for it.
So to use a therapy term, therapy is based on a co-dependence relationship between the therapist and the client. The therapist gets to manipulate the client, pretending they are the well one, and the client gets to pay the therapist and pretend they are the sick one.
So in this game the client has become well when they realize they don't need to see a therapist and the therapist has become well when they realise they don't need to be a therapist.

Maturity
Something I enjoyed reading today:

A mature human being finally comes to the realization that quite a few things are just how they are. They can relax and function amidst life's imperfections without the need to be recognized or to condemn. Life is not perfect. Have you ever met the child who doesn't want the gold star? Sins of the father
In our society traditional male/female relationships often exhibit these patterns.
Obviously these are big generalizations. But there is a common thread in our society..
Male Female relationships often have the female looking for deeper emotional connection with the male holding distance.. getting buried in work/football etc. What is this all about ?
When kids arrive the mother will find a new emotionally devoted male in her son and use this as a surrogate male emotional relationship. This is not healthy but is often the case.
What this in turn does for the son is have him grow up with him thinking that women are providers of deep emotional support. Because his mum over coddled him, the man does not learn to be emotionally self sufficient, he has been emotionally castrated and he expects emotional guarantee in his relationships from weomen.
All of this stops a man being able to really risk his emotional feelings in a relationship. He is used to the female emotionally compensating for him and in fact being subservient in this respect.
I believe this is often why men can be subtly nasty to weomen in their power. In the work environment men can gang up on a women if this threat is apparent. The women starts reflecting the mans weakness and pain in this area. Unfortunately most women just oblige and compensate again to keep the status quo.
The pattern is set for the next generation.
This pattern also has a manifestation on the father daughter side.
The less emotionally available father will have the daughter reaching out for this connection. As the father does not just 'show up' the daughter can develop tactics to extract the attention.
(this can setup conflicts with the mother as the daughter can get better at this than the mother so the mum just gives up and gets it from the son as daughter extracts it from dad)
When the daughter gets to puberty. The daughters sexual energy turns on and is then directed at dad, dad is completely freaked out and is even less capable of providing any sort of useful mirror for his daughter. He is scared about being a pedophile, incapable and scared of going into how he feels, he is not able to allow, and reflect that his daughter is attractive to him.
This is the safe mirror she needs from an emotionaly mature father, but he cant hold it for her so she reaches out even more.
When he continues to run away, the daughter gives up and then goes out into the world looking to 'get' this from man in general.
Because she has not had the boundary set by dad she can become oversexualised toward men, reaching out tying to get connection though sex via a man.
Not grounded in the fact that she is a totally whole sexual being without having to have sex, getting sex has become the only way to get this identity. But it does not work.
No relationship will satify the needs.
In the end the only way to guarantee the need is to have a son and get the emotional/sexual energy from him..
And so the cycle continues.

The tapestry and the tao
Read this today and liked it:
"When the fabric of our relationships is spun of openness, love and trust, then in the silence between words the tapestry is made complete"
I like to look as relationships as 'network' or 'graph' (as in node graph) phenomena, this is why people uses metaphors like 'web' and 'tapestry' to describe them.. (but really they are multidimensional networks not 2d webs or tapestries)
parties to a relationship are nodes in the network, and a network can experience complex fluxes through itself.
So to me this is talking about a natural order of relationship rather than an imposed forced structural one. The natural network, will support and allow the flux that is present by virtue of its parties, the parties to this will be happy. The forced network is imposed by a more external powerful influence, to achieve the flux dynamic the influence is after, this wont necessarily make the parties happy as it does not respect their individual nodal contributions.
The silence between words represents the unity flux of the network.. a unique expression of the network left to flow and balance its own tune.
This can not be predicted or controlled, but it can be felt by all who take part.
So the Tao could be described as the natural network flux of all relational things past present and future
From the Tao Te Ching:
"The tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named
is not the eternal Name.
The unnamable is the eternally real.
Naming is the origin
of all particular things.
Free from desire, you realize the mystery.
Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations.

This source is called darkness.
Darkness within darkness.
The gateway to all understanding."

Rules..
Do you need rules to live by ?
I dont think so..
Rules are for robots of personality
A personality robot you makes choises from habit or because you are supposed to or because others expect it of you.
But a you you will just choose what makes you happy.
How else are you supposed to get beyond the illusory tangarine of this funny old world ?
So rules, shoulds and expectations are for the lost personality robot person.
Do you want to be you you or do you want to be a personality robot..
At least if you want to be you you.. there are no rules.. other than what makes you happy.
So you can be happy then..

Today i got a little sad because i realised something..

Three Things
Three things that block our enlightenment
1. Attachment to our dramas.. we think we are our dramas, and get meaning from them.. we are not.. drop them and get on with the real thing.. discovering what on earth is you.
2. Attachment to logic.. Life is not logical.. is love logical.. and life is more based on love than logic.. at least if you don't want to be a robot..
3. Fear of the unknown.. You cant change if you fear the you that you have yet to discover.. you could be cooler than you think but you are never going to get there if you fear the next you and what that would do..

Searching for God
If you want people to believe you.. you are looking for god
If you want people to need you.. you are searching for god
If you want people to believe in what you believe.. you are still seeking god
If you want people to see you.. you have not yet found god.
And if you want people to follow you.. you are getting lost from god.
When you claim any of these are the way for another.. intuitive ones know you are fooling yourself.
Never the less.. your search is a worthy one.
During your search, if you discover that you want to be free of the search.. you could be finding god.

Conversion and the devil inside
Conversion.. Why
This is the basic religion system function, it contains how and why any religion, politics or doctrine functions to promote energy or cash to the top of the system.
Why would any religious group need to convert people to its religion..
1. The financial reason. At the top.. the boss wants more energy/money..
2. The security reason.. For the congregation.. they are insecure.. they are afraid of life, to top it all their intuition knows the religion they follow is on the wrong track but.. oh i don't want to change my habit.. the congregation will want others to join to validate them in their habit and addictions. Its a human thing..
Opiates for the masses..
This all works very nicely for the boss
If you were secure in yourself you would not care what others thought about flying pigs or levitating lamas..
Insecurity is what the boss wants.. its how he stays the boss.. he is not required without it.. who needs to pay protection money when you dont need protection.. its why there is a devil, its why there is a bin laden and its even why governments are happy to keep drugs illegal
If someone is trying to sell you on them or their way, by telling you its dark out there without them, they are selling you the oldest con in the earths story book.
And its a drug.. you take a drug to avoid something that don't feel good. You go to a religion or doctrine for the same reason.. it helps you avoid the 'bad'.. its addictive. Remember, you take a drug to avoid something that don't feel good.. if you want to get to the root of all addiction this is it.. addiction is avoidance of something you don't yet know or 'think' you are OK with.
If you can start to look at, and allow your consciousness to experience and know your 'bad' or shadow.. you can start to drop your addiction.. and you will become free.. of doctrines.. and drugs.
So checkout the devil in you and learn to be OK with it.. Check out Bin laden too, you may be surprised who he works for.
Remember the PR focus for the boss will be the bad guy he needs to protect you from.

Insecurity is what the boss wants.. its how he stays the boss.. he is not required without it.. who needs to pay protection money when you dont need protection.. its why there is a devil, its why there is a bin laden and its even why governments are happy to keep drugs illegal
If someone is trying to sell you on them or their way, by telling you its dark out there without them, they are selling you the oldest con in the earths story book.
And its a drug.. you take a drug to avoid something that don't feel good. You go to a religion or doctrine for the same reason.. it helps you avoid the 'bad'.. its addictive. Remember, you take a drug to avoid something that don't feel good.. if you want to get to the root of all addiction this is it.. addiction is avoidance of something you don't yet know or 'think' you are OK with.
If you can start to look at, and allow your consciousness to experience and know your 'bad' or shadow.. you can start to drop your addiction.. and you will become free.. of doctrines.. and drugs.
So checkout the devil in you and learn to be OK with it.. Check out Bin laden too, you may be surprised who he works for.
Remember the PR focus for the boss will be the bad guy he needs to protect you from.
Stop the madness and look at the devil inside..

What is going to happen to cars
As oil value continues to rise cars are going to change.
We can quite rapidly know what they will they be like by making some obvious extrapolations.
Everything below is already in the works by one of the major manufacturers but none yet plan to put all the innovations together into one vehicle. This is only a matter of time and pressure from oil price.
* Most of the fuel in a car is used to move the car not the person in it. The biggest fuel savings come from making cars smaller and lighter. We will see smaller cars made of new lighter composite materials.
* Hybrid cars save fuel.. Cars will go hybrid
* Diesel is more efficient than petrol.. We will have diesel hybrids
* Hybrids need batteries and batteries are heavy. Batteries will be replaced by capacitors which come in at about one third of the weight. I expect the electricity storage unit will itself become a battery/capacitor hybrid.
So the future car is a small lightweight diesel hybrid with a capacitance unit for electricity storage. Future cars should spec in between 100 and 200 mpg depending on the models people go for.
I also expect there will also be a new class of vehicle, the human hybrid. A human hybrid is a human powered vehicle with an energy assist. We see these appearing today with bikes, scooters and skateboards that have small motors that the driver can engage.
..and we will have far far fewer of them on the roads.
a) Because its very energy intensive to make one hence expensive to buy. People should start sharing them.
b) Public transport will have got good. It has to.
c) Get a bike. It works.

Sun worship

It does seem that most modern religions are based on sun worship and astrology but they try to hide this fact. Here is an example.. Christianity in sun worship components.
The Son of God
We know the ancient peoples worshipped the sun, and no one on Earth could ever own the Sun. Such a heavenly body must belong to the unseen Creator of the universe. It became known as, not man's, but "God's Sun."
Obviously "God's Sun" was . . ."The Light Of The World." it was common in ancient Egypt to say that "God’s Sun was the 'Light of the World,' who gave His life for us".
Each night, mankind was forced to wait for the "Rising of The Sun" or "The resurrection of the Sun" to chase away the physical and mental insecurity brought on by the darkness.
The morning Sun focused man's attention on his heavenly dependence on Earth. It was the obvious symbol of divine benevolence from heaven. The Sun God, called 'Horus' in ancient Egypt moved across the sky in a chariot, its where we get Hours or Houruses from as the gradations of his movement and also where Set the god of night would win over him at Sun 'Set'.
Just as a small fire brought limited light into man's own little world of darkness, the "Great Fire of Day" served the whole Earth with its heavenly presence. It was said at Deut. 4:24 and Heb. 12:29 that the God of the Bible was a "Consuming Fire" in heaven.
Man was bound to a life on Earth, but the sky was the abode of God's Sun. He resides "up there" in. . . "Heaven."
Man saw in his male offspring his own image and likeness, and his own existence as a father was proved by the person of his son. "God's Sun" was a visible representative of the unseen Creator in heaven. It was said, "When you have seen the Son, you have seen the Father." Or "The Father is glorified in His Son."
In ancient Egypt, the Sun was pictured with wings. In Mal 4:2, the God of Heaven is described as the "Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings." Then in the New Testament in Matt. 23:37 and Luke 13:34, we see God's Son wanting to gather all under "His wings."
The Devil
Since harm lurked in the dark of night, evil or harmful deeds were naturally the "Works of Darkness." And of course the evil of night was ruled over by none other than . . . "The Prince of Darkness." Evil is of the Dark, the “Dark-Evil" or the "D Evil"
The Cross
Man kept track of times and seasons by the movement of the Sun - daily, monthly, yearly. For this, the sundial was used. Not only the daily movement of the Sun was tracked on the round dial, but the whole year was charted on a round calendar dial.
Since the Earth has four different seasons, all the same and equal (in time) each year, the round calendar was divided into four equal parts. This represented the complete story of the life of "God's Sun."
To represent the seasons on the circular yearly calendar, you put a vertical line down the middle, cutting the circle in half - one end being the point of the winter solstice; the other end the summer solstice. Then another horizontal line (crossing the first one) adds the spring equinox and the autumn equinox.
This is called "The Cross of the Zodiac."
The movements of the suns life are on the cross, so
The life of God's "Sun" is on "the Cross."
This is why you so often see the round circle of the Sun on the crosses of Christian churches. They are showing you zodiacal crosses, infact they are showing you sun calendars.
Death and Resurection
On December 22, the Sun, going south, reaches its lowest point in the sky (our winter solstice). It was often described, since the days have the longest darkness of the year, as the sun's descent into Hell where he was subjected to the darkness, or the dark-evil, the D-evil.
From the 22nd the sun stops moving for the next three days. (the sunrise is at exactly the same place as depicted on a the zodiacal cross) The sun has died on the cross.
On December 25th, the sun starts its motion northward. On December 25th the sun is “Born Again.”
December 25th was the ancient Roman celebration of Sol Invictus-the Sun Unconquered. So Roman Christianity celebrates the birthday of the Sun on this date.. The full return of the sun happens at the vernal equinox when days become longer than nights. This is Easter. Christians still celebrate Easter at a sun rise service.
Its sun worship !
Well some moon too. Queen Semiramis of Babylon came down from the moon in a giant moon egg that fell into the Euphrates River at the time of the first full moon after the spring equinox. She was later called Ishtar and its why we eat eggs on Easter to celebrate her reign. Her son was nimrod who she married and was later called Baal the god of the Sun. The worship of this light is what Lucifer or Lucius the god of light is all about. Its funny how Christianity is actually a Luciferian cult.
